Obituary

Margaret Ann Beres-Pensy, 87, of South Beaver Township, formerly of North Sewickley Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 19, 2021.

Born on June 29, 1934 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Helen (Barnett) Yovich.

Margaret was a housekeeper for Ellwood City Hospital for many years.  She enjoyed golfing in leagues around Beaver County and was a member of the North Sewickley Fire Department’s Lady’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children; Emil Mark (Jodi) Beres, Jr., Julia (Aaron) Rankin; step-daughter, Lucille Burson; her grandchildren, Emily Beres and Amelia Valenzuela; a great-grandson, Samuel Valenzuela; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son; Matthew Beres; and her siblings; Frederick, George, Nicholas, Mildred, and Martha.

In accordance with her wishes, all services are private.

Interment was in Little Beaver Cemetery.

The GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton assisted the family with arrangements.
