Obituary

Margaret Ann “Peggy” Macey, of Darlington Twp., passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024 at UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born July 7, 1949, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Agnes (Sopko) Baysura where she grew up in ‘The Run’.  Peggy was dedicated to her family and friends and was a devout member of her local churches including St. Joachim, St. Rosalia, and St. Rose of Lima.  She met the love of her life in college and Peggy and Chris (Chris & Peggy) spent just shy of 50 years happily married.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Mark “Chris” Macey; her sons, Justin (Kristen) Macey and Rory (Stephanie) Macey; granddaughters, Lennon and Icelyn; a sister, Susann (Mark) Seibel; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday May 21,2024 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC.- 117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa Twp.

Prayers will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 9:00am, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am at Our Lady of the Lourdes Roman Catholic Parish-210 E. Main St., East Palestine, OH 44413
