Obituary

The life of Marjorie Ann (Margie) Swanson ended on Friday, September 13, 2019 at her home in Brighton Township.

Born in Rochester May 1, 1930 she was a Rochester resident until moving with her family to Brighton Township in 1961.

Following 28 years with the Beaver County Times where she was employed first in the editorial department and for the last half of that period of time in advertising, she retired in 1998.  Prior to her employment with the Times, she was a school bus driver for Beaver Area for nine years.

Margie was passionate about wildlife, studied birds, and advocated the need for climate control with an emphasis on preserving trees.

Surviving are four daughters: Nancy Ullerich and husband, Bob,   Florence, SC; Betsy Berenson and husband, Craig, Los Angeles, CA; Susan Klingelhoefer and partner, Jimmy Chen, New York, NY, and Judy Pamer and husband, Kevin, Beaver, PA; seven grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Gary and Steve Ullerich, Kristy Breneman, Sophie Berenson and Karl Pamer; eight great-grandchildren, and a sister, Nancy Krupa, Beaver.

She was preceeded in death by her sister, Dorothy Puryear, and a great grandson, Cameron Ullerich,

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Todd Funeral Home Inc., 340 Third Street, Beaver ,

 Services will be private, burial will take place at Beaver Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society.
