Obituary

Marian F. Byers Beaver Marian F. Byers, 78, of Beaver (Vanport Twp.), died Tuesday, April 11, 2017, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Brighton Twp. Born April 6, 1939, in Williamsport, Pa., a daughter of the late James Walter and Marian (Johnson) Simpson, she was a retired registered nurse from the Ellwood City Hospital. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Sam and Jan Brendlinger, Beaver, and James Brendlinger, Beaver; a stepson and his wife, Roy “Chip” and Kimberly Welsh, Tampa, Fla.; a grandchild, Samantha Brown; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Lucy Brown, and a stepsister, Selma C. Kastner. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., gabauerfamily funeralhomes.com, where services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m., with the Rev Lee Bittner officiating. Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery.

    Sam, James and family, I cannot even begin to tell you how saddened I am at Marian's passing. She was beyond a fine person and the finest nurse I have ever known. Her wit, perseverance, swift but fair hand and intelligence are forever with me and hundreds of others she has touched. My heart to you all.

Other surviving family members of Marian's include: stepdaughter, Alene Randklev (TJ) of Tuscon, AZ; granddaughter, Tobbie Mulroy-Krantz of Manchester, NH; grandson, Patrick Mulroy (Karlie) of Pittsburgh, PA; granddaughters Katie Kidney of Edna, TX; Tiffany Randklev & Maggie Randklev both of Tuscon AZ and 11 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by stepson James Byers; stepdaughter Gloria Selby (survived by husband Rick); Terri Mustard (survived by husband Don of TX); grandson Ricky Mulroy and great granddaughter, Ryleigh. This part of Marian's (Nanny) family feel very fortunate and blessed to have had her love and life and uniqueness in this crazy world of things; without her our worlds would not have been such a wonderful place to be. WE LOVE YOU.
