Marian Regina James, 84, entered the heavenly realm on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Regina was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. All those who loved her rejoice in knowing that she is with her Heavenly Father.

Born July 2, 1939 in Wampum, PA, to the late Talmadge and Mary (Grooms) Richardson, Regina spent her life in service of God, family, and her community. A graduate of the Community College of Beaver County and Geneva College, she worked for many years as a prevention specialist, assisting students and their families at CCBC and the Beaver Falls School District, while raising her daughters and supporting her husband's law career. A woman of humble sophistication and grace, she also enjoyed reading the Bible, exercise, and travel. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and Christian Assembly Family Church.

Regina passed surrounded by family in her Chippewa Township home. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, George Edward James; her children, Alesa, Alexis and Alaina; grandchildren Michael, Kendal, Coletrane, Alanna, Corinne, Zachary, Zora, and Drew; and siblings Geraldine, Erma, William, and Otis; her sons-in-law, Melvin and Jesse; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, August 10 ^th starting at 10am at Christian Assembly Family Church – 6241 Tuscarawas Rd Industry, PA 15052. Funeral services will begin at 11am. Rev. Bill Anzevino will officiate.

Committal service will follow in Beaver Cemetery and Mausoleum, Beaver.

In honor of her love of education, a scholarship has been set up in memory of Marian.
