Obituary

Marjorie (Cochran) Cavett, age 90, of Beaver, went home to be with her precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 5, 2020.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth (Snyder) Cochran.  Marjorie worked for Henderson Brothers Insurance for many years.  A member of Pathway Church in Chippewa, she taught Bible classes for over 60 years at Peters Creek Baptist Church and Sunset Hills UP Church before moving to Beaver.  She loved to teach God’s Word.  Her love of her family was secondary only to her love and relationship with her Savior Jesus and living her life as an example of this relationship.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years Philip J. Cavett, and two sisters, Ruth Green and Elaine Dusch.

She was the beloved mother of Robert M. (Betty) Cavett, Candice R. (Robert) Markovitz, Richard M. (Cherry) Cavett and Philip A. (Julie) Cavett; grandmother of Jason (Courtney) Cavett, Jeffrey Cavett, David (Christina) Markovitz, Nathan (Becky) Markovitz, and Sydney, Andrew and Abigail Cavett; great-grandmother of Judah and Naomi Cavett; sister of Thomas (Mary) Cochran; and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend Marjorie’s funeral service on Wednesday, December 9th at noon at Pathway Church- 239 Braun Road, Beaver Falls PA 15010.  In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required inside of the church, and social distancing will be enforced.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Elmcroft Senior Living Facility-Chippewa, Heritage Valley Medical Center-Beaver, and Good Samaritan Hospice Care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Marjorie’s name to Pathway Church- 239 Braun Rd., Beaver Falls PA 15010.
