Obituary

Mary Ann Young, 86, of Chippewa Twp., passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Heritage Valley-Beaver Emergency Department, surrounded by her loving family. 

Born January 14, 1935 in Eastvale, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alberta (Schaefer) Miller.  Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her Pittsburgh Penguins, Steelers and Pirates play.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merle D. Young; two brothers, Albert and Edward Miller; and two sisters, Dorothy Holt and Beatrice Stangle.

She is survived by a daughter Debbie and son-in- law, Tom Stewart of Chippewa Twp., and a daughter, Diana Morris of Columbiana Ohio; a son, Joseph Young and daughter-in-law Maria of Chippewa Twp.; her loving grandchildren, Tom and Michelle Stewart, Dan and Beth Stewart, Josh and Meghan Stewart, Zack and Mandy Young, Mark and Emma Young and Krystine Young; her great-grandchildren, Elijah, Collin, Ben, Allie, Caleb, Daisy, Melanie and Tyler; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home-117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com where services will be held on Thursday at 11am. Rev. Lee Bittner will officiate.

Private interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
