Obituary

Mary C. (Fortner) Pasquale, 81, beloved wife of the late David M. Pasquale, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 7, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Allentown, PA.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY on December 14, 1939, Mary was the daughter of the late Claude and Ruth (Evans) Fortner.  Mary worked in sales at Kaufmann’s Department Store for many years until she took on the roll of caring for her home and family. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Augustino.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Michael (Mae Ann) Pasquale, Orefield, PA, and Mark (Heidi) Pasquale, Sellersville, PA; grandchildren, Lauren, Daniel, Caitlin, David, Madison, Abby, Matthew, Joseph, and Justin; and her great-granddaughters, Kyleigh and Elyse.

Friends will be received on Monday from 4-6PM at the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton.  A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home at 6PM with Fr. Tom Kredel as celebrant.

Private inurnment will take place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.

  1. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Wonderful memories of of great times with Punkie and Dave, Mike and Mark, fill my mind.
    May the peace that passes all understanding fill your minds and hearts during these times of grieving and healing.
    Know that your loved ones, including our sweet (aunt and/or grandma Ruth and uncle/or grandpa Fuzzie) are smiling upon you and that they are so proud of the legacy that your families are.
