Mary Rose (Montani) Ferrario, 97, formerly of Chippewa Township, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023.  Mary was born in New Galilee, PA on October 22, 1925, the daughter of Angelo and Natalina (Marinoni) Montani.

She was predeceased by her son, Paul J. Ferrario, her husband Peter J. Sr., and her sister, Louise (Montani) Mutscheller.

She retired from Equibank and was a member of Christ the Divine Teacher R.C. Church (now St. Monica Roman Catholic Church of St. Augustine Parish). She volunteered for many years with Meals on Wheels. Mary was a life member of LMBA New Galilee. Upon moving to Oxford, PA in 2007 she was a member of The Church of the Sacred Heart in Oxford, PA.

She is survived by her son, Peter J. Ferrario and his wife, Betty of West Grove, PA; two grandsons, Joseph P. Ferrario and his wife, Staci of Oxford, PA and Andrew M. Ferrario and his wife, Stephanie of Wilmington, DE; 5 great-grandchildren, Jacob A. Decyk, Nicholas P. Ferrario, Gianna R. Ferrario, Cecilia H. Ferrario and Lacey A. Ferrario; her brother, Anthony L .Montani of New Galilee, PA; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, July 28th from 10:30am until the time of a Catholic Blessing service at 11:30am at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC- 117 Blackhawk Rd., Beaver Falls, PA  15010-www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com. Due to the hot weather, the family requests casual dress, please.

Interment will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
