Obituary

Mary A. Stuber, 87, of Patterson Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley – Beaver.

Born on November 6, 1936, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Ida (Orlowski) Selasky.

Mary attended Beaver Falls High School where she was the Head Majorette and lead the Tiger band.  She was a dental assistant for her professional life and was an active member and parishioner of St. Monica Church of St. Augustine Parish.  Mary, affectionately known as Lu Lu, loved spending time and laughing with her family and friends. She was the life of the party!  All who knew her loved her energy and her lively spirit.  She was also very lucky in life, especially playing the slot machines.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Stuber; a daughter, Louise Ann Stuber; and her sisters, Martha and Pauline.

She is survived by her son, David Stuber (Kim Fonzi); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Friends will be received on Saturday, April 20 th from 9:30 until the time of departing prayer at 11:30AM in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Twp., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon at St. Monica Church of St. Augustine Parish, 116 Thorndale Dr., Beaver Falls.

Private interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
