Miles E. (Buzz) Mooney, 83, of Beaver, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Heritage Valley—Beaver.

Born on December 30, 1939, in Trafford, PA, he was. the son of the late Miles and Vera (Ramp) Mooney.

Miles had been an Elder of Shiloh Assembly Ministry and was a fervent supporter of the Four Mile Home Prayer Group.

He retired from Pittsburgh Public Schools where he was an auto mechanics teacher.  Following retirement, Miles taught drivers education until the age of 80.  He enjoyed old cars, golf, racquetball, dancing and cooking, but most of all, he cherished precious memories with his family.  His grandchildren lovingly called him Poppy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 faithful years, E. Christine (Marazzi) Mooney; his children, Kim Patterson, Mary Beth (Robert) Norkus, Tommy Patterson, (his son and recent caretaker) and Jane (Jim) Maxwell; grandchildren, Sarah DeIuliis, Victoria DeIuliis, Elizabeth DeIuliis, Claire Maxwell, Lily Maxwell, Mary Kate Maxwell, Carolina Maxwell and James Maxwell; a sister, Nancy (Bob) Watson; nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Miles' sister, Linda Ziegler, passed on before him.

Friends will be received on Saturday, December 23 ^rd from 10AM until the time of service at Noon at the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Hom & Cremation Services, Inc., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls.

Interment will be private.
