Miriam J. Auth, 98, formerly of Monaca, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Franciscan Manor.
Born on May 24, 1923, in Monaca, she was the daughter of the late Fred H. and Mary A. (Davis) Bechtel.
Miriam had retired from the accounting department at Koppers after many years of faithful service. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Monaca and enjoyed time spent with her loved ones.
In addition to her parents, Miriam was preceded in death by her husband, John Auth; her brother, William Bechtel; and her nephew, Hank Bechtel.
She is survived by her two nieces; Mary Ann Cox and Donna Scholz; her great niece, Nicole (Michael) Crespo; great nephew, Chris Cox; great-great niece, Ashley; great-great nephews, Christian, Nathan, and Lucas; and her special friends, Theresa and Annie.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4PM & 6-8PM in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Twp., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls.
Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:15AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Mary, Queen of Saints, St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Monaca at 10AM.
Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Rochester.
