Miriam "Ruth" Hahn

Miriam "Ruth" Hahn, 95, formerly of Beaver went to be with Jesus Wednesday October 5 from Masonic Village Sewickley. She was born January 30, 1927 in Washington, DC and was the daughter of the late John Floid and Elizabeth Wilbur Shultz. Ruth had been a tour guide at Old Economy Village for many years, was a piano teacher, had received the VITA award from WQED, had obtained her Batchelor Degree in Music and Masters in Music Education, taught piano lessons, loved music and played in various churches and venues, enjoyed sewing and was a lifelong member of the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church of Sewickley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Walter Alvin Hahn in 2006. She is survived by her sons, Walter and Peter, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. There will be no services at this time. The Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver has been entrusted with the professional arrangements.
