Obituary

Nancy E. Lindsay, 81, of Columbiana, OH, formerly of White Township, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016, in Parkside Health Care Center.Born January 12, 1935, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late J. Eugene and Alberta (Depner) Early. She was a 1952 graduate of Beaver Falls High School, and a lifetime member of the Steffin Hill Presbyterian Church, where she was in the choir and handbell choir. She devoted a large part of her life to the New Galilee Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lindsay; a sister, Martha Jean McKenzie, and a niece, Kathleen DeBolt.She is survived by four daughters and one son-in-law, Colleen and Bob Courter, and Hollyn, Eileen and Karyn Lindsay; a brother, William “Bill” Early; four grandchildren, Andrew, Robbie, Katelynn and Matthew; a great-granddaughter, Alivia, and numerous nieces and nephews.Friends will be received on Friday from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., www.gabauerluttonfuneralhome.com.
