Nina E. Sontag, 76, of Connoquenessing Twp., formerly of New Brighton, died Monday, September 18, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born April 8, 1947, in Dade County, FL, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Velma Harvard.

Nina was a nurse by profession and was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the church choir.  She was also the leader of the women's bible study and the church bake sale.

She is survived by her three children, Beverly, Robert and Sean Sontag; three brothers, Johnny, Gerald (Cheryl) and George (Claudia) Harvard and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Dayle Sontag; three brothers, Jacob, Yale and Dale Harvard and a sister, Estell Harvard.

In accordance with Nina's wishes, all services are private.
