Norma A.
Demarco
Feb 16, 1940 — Sep 4, 2023
Norma Antonette DeMarco went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday morning, September 4th, 2023 at the age of 83, in her home.
Born February 16, 1940, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Umberto and Mary (Tassari) Donatelli.
A 1958 graduate of Peabody High School, Norma wed Eugene F. DeMarco on June 4, 1960, and went on to have four children, Eugene, Jr., Samuel, Marie, and David. Norma would celebrate 58 years of marriage with Geno and now reunited with her first and only love.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Norma faithfully and sacrificially served by her husband's side as pastor's wife of New Brighton Christian Assembly (now Life Family Church) for nearly half her life.
She had a special gift for hospitality, cooking countless meals for her family, friends, and guest ministries from around the world. She served her church as Sunday School Teacher and Women's Ministry Director.
Norma's love for others grew from her unwavering faith and love for Jesus Christ. She was a life long prayer warrior and student of the Word of God.
Her legacy resounds in her favorite passage of scripture in Psalm 52:8-9:
"But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God.
I trust in the steadfast love of God forever and ever.
I will thank you forever,
because you have done it.
I will wait for your name, for it is good, in the presence of the godly."
Norma is survived by her loving children, Eugene Jr. (Cheryl) DeMarco, Rev. Sam (Jill) DeMarco, Marie DeMarco, and David (Lori) DeMarco; her grandchildren, Alexa (Jordan) Curry, and Jessica (John) McCullough, Grace (Justin) Loughrie, Rachel (Jackson) Hall, Alyssa (Jules) Granati, Gina (Jacob) McConnell, David Joshua (Lindsay), Elijah (Jasmin), and Hannah Bella DeMarco; her great grandchildren, Isla, Sammy Jude, and Elsie Curry; Koa DeMarco, and Giulio Granati, brothers, Richard (Karen) Donatelli and Ronald (Lisa) Flammia.
