Obituary

Norman David Bollinger, Sr., 85, of South Beaver Twp., formerly of Monaca, passed away with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 in Celebration Villa of Chippewa.

Born April 24, 1938 in Altoona, PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Marjorie (Ross) Bollinger.  He was a member of the Little Beaver Historical Society and the Model T Ford Club.  He retired after 38 years from Eaton/Westinghouse.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan (Romisher) Bollinger; and his longtime companion, Roberta Dwyer.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Theresa Bollinger; and his beloved grandchildren, Andrew and Sarah Bollinger.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 26th from 4pm until the time of services at 7pm in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME- 117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa Twp.-www.gabauerfamily funeral homes.com.

Private interment will take place in Grandview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Norman’s name to Gateway Hospice- 9380 McKnight Rd., Arcadia Court Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

The family would like to give special thanks to Katrina and the staff of Gateway Hospice, as well as the staff of Celebration Villa of Chippewa for all of the loving care they provided to Norman.

    You have my sincere sympathy for the lost of your father. I remember how upset you were to get him home when he got ill while on a cruise.
