Patricia A. Hughes, 79, of Rochester, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Heritage Valley Hospital-Sewickley.

Born May 7, 1943 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Hefferan and Elizabeth (McCabe) Culfa.

Patricia worked as a dietary aide for 25 years at Sewickley Hospital and was a member of  both Clinton United Presbyterian Church and New Bethlehem Church. She enjoyed reading books and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, William Hughes; children, Brian (Tammy) Hughes and Janet (Paul) Searight; grandchildren, Tyler Hughes, Tyler Puharic (Amy),

Joshua Stillwagon (Aydan), Kaylee Hughes (Damien Vankirk), Tanner Hughes, Jonathan Stillwagon, Justin Stillwagon; great-grandchildren, Enzo, Rosee and Halo; step-brother, David Hefferan (Ann Marie); step-sister, MaryEllen Sichak (Eric Robertson); sister-in-law, Lydia Hefferan and numerous nieces, nephew and friends.

In addition to her parent, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Hughes and brothers, Thomas (Sandy) Hefferan and Leo Hefferan.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services.
