Patricia G. "Pat" Why, 81, of Chippewa Twp., passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born on June 13, 1941, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late John and June (Pyle) Gallagher.

Pat was a homemaker and had spent many years as a Christian educator.  She was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church, Beaver Falls and the order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Raymond Why; her children, Faith (David) Zupsic and R. Andrew Why; her grandchildren, Noah, Cameron, Christian, Tyler, Grace, Cassidy, and Gabriel; three sisters, Sharon Putsinger, Colleen DeCarbo, and Kathleen Gallagher; her beloved friends, Shawn (Robyn) McCracken, Megan Heisel, and Jack Kincade; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer McCracken.

Friends will be received on Sunday, March 12 ^th from 2-4PM & 6-8PM in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Twp., www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com .

Pat will lie-in-state on Monday, March 13 ^th from 10-11AM at First Presbyterian Church, 1103 8 ^th Ave., Beaver Falls, after which time a funeral service will be held.  The Rev. Dr. David Oyler will officiate.

Interment will follow in Beaver Falls Cemetery.
