Obituary

Paul Dunham, 86, of Darlington, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Christian House Home Health and Assisted living in East Palestine.

Born in Darlington on April 2, 1940, he was the son of the late John “Jack” and Mary Pearl (McCowin) Dunham.

Paul graduated from Darlington High School in 1958. He worked at McKay & Gould and then co-owned Jenkins & Dunham excavating with his brother-in-law, Keith Jenkins, for numerous years. Paul then drove a tri-axle truck for Ron August Trucking, retiring in 2008.

Throughout his life, Paul loved bowling, hunting, and snowmobiling; and had a passion for his corvette, broncos and trucks. He was a Steeler and Pirate fan. Later in life, he enjoyed feeding and watching birds every day.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Louise (Tunno) Dunham; his children, Kimberly (Steve) Hodges and Paul (Nancy) Dunham; his step children, Tammy Littell, Terri (Jim) Cashdollar, and Jamie (Tim) Greenier; his siblings, Virginia Fawcett, Mary Grace Ferguson, Dennis Dunham and Betty Taylor; his 3 grandchildren; his 8 step-grandchildren; numerous step-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his siblings, infant sister Carolyn Dunham, John “Henny” Dunham and Kay Hughes and his step-grandson, Joseph Urgitus.

Over a 20-year journey with Alzheimer’s, Paul was sustained by the unwavering love and care of his wife, Louise. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).

We can’t thank the Christian House staff enough for their love and care during this time, along with Patriot Hospice.

Friends will be received on Monday, April 20, 2026 from 3PM to 7PM  

in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS SERVICES, Inc., 117 Blackhawk Road Beaver Falls, PA 15010. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home the following day at 11AM, friends will be received an hour prior to services. Pastor Fritz Nelson will officiate.

Interment will take place at Duff Cemetery, Darlington,PA.
