Paul Robert Laughlin

The Lord is my Shepherd, there is nothing I shall want. Paul Robert Laughlin, 86, of Beaver, loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather passed from this life into the eternal Kingdom of God on Friday August 1 in Heritage Valley, Beaver. He was born February 1, 1928 in Georgetown, PA and was the son of the late John and Cora Mae Laughlin.

He had resided in Beaver 30 years, coming from Ohioville Boro. Paul started as a clerk and retired as Superintendent of Production at Standard Slag Company, Youngstown, OH and later was a security guard at Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Vanport. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church of Beaver, and a member of the F&AM Glasgow Lodge #0485. In his youth he had appeared on the Wilkinson Amateur Hour on tv and had even recorded a record.

Surviving are his wife Jennie T. Laughlin, 2 daughters, Linda Woodson, Aurora, IL, and Susan (Mark) Deitrick, Beaver, 2 sons, Paul (Linda) Laughlin, Beaver and Larry Laughlin, KT, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, James F. Laughlin, Calcutta, OH, and Thomas (Liz) Laughlin, Center Township. Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Elena and 2 brothers, John and Ron Laughlin.

Friends will be received Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver where a Blessing Service will be conducted Monday at 10 AM by his Pastor Father Robert Miller.
