Peggy I. Cordes, 76, of Baden, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice – Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born on December 31, 1946, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Betty (Graham) Morack.

Peggy was a bar tender for numerous bars and restaurants in the area, spending 30 plus years with the Ambridge District Sportsman Club.  Peggy enjoyed bird watching and had a love for all animals.

Peggy was preceded in death by her loving companion, David Roebuck; a son-in-law, Shawn Newberry; and a granddaughter, Chelsey Newberry.

She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie (Charles) Rader, Monica Newberry, and Jennifer (Joel) Tomasko-Chalupiak; her sister, Lisa (Rich) Newberry; grandchildren, Kristi (Garrett) Marburger, Martin (Stacey) Irwin, Brittany Newberry, Marissa Tomasko, and Payton Tomasko; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a special nephew, Tarl Newberry; and friends.

In accordance with Peggy's wishes, she will be cremated.  A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, April 22 ^nd at 4PM at the Ambridge District Sportsman Club.
