Afterglow by Helen Lowrie Marshall

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.

I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.

I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,

Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

Carol and family: We are saddened to learn of Phil’s passing. I remember the years that you and I worked together but also recall times spent getting to know each other and getting to know Phil. Thom recalls how he taught him upholstery and became a friend. Phil’s creativity, artistry, skill were awesome and his love of cars unmatched. He was kind, gave of himself which we are grateful for. His pride and love for you and your family shone. Our sympathy, thoughts and prayers, Thom and Lynn Betz, North Carolina

  2. My wonderful “big” brother…I have loved you since I was old enough to know that I had a big brother. You were always my hero and I treasured having you in my life. We were blessed to have been born into such a loving family. I am going to miss you with every ounce of my being…there will always be a place in my heart that is reserved just for you. I love you
