Obituary
Preston Ross Fischer, 62, of Monaca, formerly of Chippewa Township, died on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Heritage Valley, Beaver.
Born on July 26, 1962, in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of Richard and Mary Lou (Hart) Fischer.
Ross was a Claims Manager for Liberty Mutual Insurance and had attended the Chippewa United Methodist Church. He was a proud volunteer for many organizations and was the coach of his grandson’s baseball team. He was a football fanatic and his favorite team was the Buffalo Bills. Ross was an athlete who was a self-proclaimed “great pitcher”.
In addition to his parents, Ross is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Patricia (Hiles) Fischer; his children, Ryan Fischer, Brandon (Brooke Kemery) Fischer, Allie Fischer, Rachelle (Shawn) Bunnell, and Michael (Andria) Misco; grandchildren, Lincoln, Cole, Logan, Nolan, and Madden; his siblings, Todd (Martha) Fischer, Betsy Fischer, Scott Fischer, and Duff (Angela) Fischer; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends will be received on Friday, February 14th from 2-4PM & 5PM until the time of services at 7PM in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls.
In accordance with Ross’ wishes, he will be cremated following services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, https://www.cancer.org/donate.html.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Ross for many years at Liberty Mutual. He loved his job and his team and was always up for a challenge. The United Way challenges still make me smile. Rest in peace Ross.

I was shocked and heart broken to hear of Ross’ passing. I worked with Ross many moons ago at Liberty Mutual and always remembered him as a very fair and warm man. I hope his family can take solace in the positivity Ross brought to the world.

I had the great fortune of working with Ross when we were both in Bill Review. Ross had a great sense of humor and a little of the same sarcasm I had. We bonded over work and life. He always had a smile, was a tenacious leader and always had your back. I wish Ross peace, and my sympathies are with the entire family.
