Obituary
Ralph E. Dixon, 66, of Coraopolis, formerly New Brighton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Transitions Healthcare, Washington, PA.
Born on April 30, 1958, in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Gale and Kitty (Hughes) Dixon.
Ralph spent his professional career as a Dispatcher for the Beaver County 911 Center. He was a member and past president of the Oak Hill Vets, past Fire Chief of New Brighton Fire Department, and loved going to car cruises.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 22 years, Carolyn (Ringer) Dixon; children, Kerri (Jimmy) Ventura and Jamie (Jack) Matias; six grandchildren, Jack Hartman, Marlo Matias, Vida Matias, Carmen Matias, Mila Ventura, and Malcom Ventura; a sister, Carol (Edward) Cain; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends will be received on Monday, May 20th from 2-8PM in GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 21st at 11AM at New Brighton Church of the Nazarene, 423 Penn Ave., New Brighton. Friends will be received one hour prior to services.
Private interment will be in Concord Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ralph’s honor may be made to the New Brighton Fire Department, 610 Third Ave., New Brighton, PA 15066.
