Richard F. Stuart, 90, of Darlington, died Thursday, May 25, 2023 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Born December 22, 1932, in North Beaver Township, he was the son of the late Frank and Edna (Eaton) Stuart.  Richard was an avid climber, with his greatest feat being climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.  He was also an avid biker, riding his way across Pennsylvania and through Death Valley.  He had a love for animals, which carried into his death.  He donated his tissue to be used for canine research.  Richard's greatest love was for his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Alice A. (Lundy) Stuart; a grandson, David J Gallagher;  a sister, Jean Price; and a brother, Larry Stuart.

He is survived by his loving daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and her husband, Dr. James Kolter, Marea and her husband Michael Gallagher, and Susan Stuart and her husband Richard Pietroski; 5 grandchildren, Kris, Anne, James Michael, Steve, and Kayla; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Lorretta Frankland, Marilyn Mohr and Norma Lenningtown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend Richard's mass of Christian burial on Friday, June 2 ^nd at noon at St. Monica's Roman Catholic Church of St. Augustine Parish- 116 Thorndale Drive, Beaver Falls PA 15010. Fr. John Naugle will officiate.

Entombment will follow in the family's mausoleum at St. Mary's Cemetery.
