Robert E Beatty, 78, passed unexpectedly, Saturday, January 1, 2022 in his home.
Born February 9, 1943, in Rochester, he was the son of the late Robert Loyd Beatty and Melva June (Edwards) Beatty.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maureen Beatty, a son, Robert W Beatty, step-daughter, Vicki Taylor, and a sister, Nancy Kaseck
He is survived by his fiance, Lillian (Chookie) Moore of Darlington, children, Keith Beatty Sr., Beaver Falls, Todd Beatty, Enon Valley, Jodi (David) Przybysz of Big Beaver Borough, stepdaughter, Darla May, North Sewickley, siblings, Thomas (Judy) Beatty, New Gallie, Donna (Richard) Musgrave, Monaca, Grand Children, Keith Beatty, Dylan Beatty, Jerrod Germusa, Jessica Beatty, and Josh Beatty, Step-Grand Children, Ryan May, Kortney May, Scott Przybysz, Michelle Lample, David Bosley, Paige Cook, and Halie Taylor, six step great grandchildren, a great aunt, nieces and nephews; the Moore Family that lovingly accepted him for the past 12 years and many special friends.
He was a graduate of Big Beaver Falls High School, Class of 1961.
Retired in 2014 from Horse head Corporation (Originally St Joe) after 48 years as an Associate Chemist. Retired as Fire Chief from the Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department in 1997 after approximately 27 of years of service. A man of public service, he also held membership throughout the years in the Rochester, West Mayfield and the Wurtemburg-Perry fire departments.
In addition to his love of fire fighting, he was an avid bowler at Sims Lanes. In most recent years, he enjoyed going to bingo around the area.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 5-8PM at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES. INC., Chippewa Twp., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls, www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com. Members of the Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department will accord honors at 7PM. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 8PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob's name may be made to the Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department.
