Mair and Denny Greaves introduced me to Bob and Mary Ann at Runaway Bay in Florida.I have considered them dear friends ever since.Bob shared his musical compositions with me and I will treasure them greatly.I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to you, Mary Ann, and your family.May you know God’s comfort and peace during these sad days.

  2. Bonnie says:

He was my band director in HS and a member of my church. He was a wonderful teacher and I still remember him after 45 years. So sorry for your loss.

  3. Mark Campbell 65 says:

Mr. Jones was the embodiment of a Christian gentleman. I’m certain he had know idea how his kind words of guidance and encouragement meant to so many of his students. Personally, some comments he made to me just before a swing band competition my senior year really settled me, and has provided an element of confidence that has helped me all of my life. He was a true mentor and role model. I was fortunate to talk with him a year ago and tell him how much he meant to him. God bless Mr. Jones, Mary Ann and his entire family! Such a fine man!

  4. Karen Farkas says:

Mr Jones, as he was when I first knew him, and as I always called him, was one of the smartest, kindest, most gentle men I have ever known. I enjoyed many visits with him and his wife, Mary Ann, both in Beaver and in Florida. Because the Pittsburgh Pirates did not have spring training in Arizona, I could not tempt him to come and visit me there. He will be missed by more people than can be counted. I am sad I will never get to hug him again.

  5. Charles Moniot says:
