Obituary
Robert Matthews, 71, of Enon Valley, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 3, 2017, at his residence. Born May 22, 1946, in Greensburg, the son of the late Ronald and Freda (Luisebrink) Matthews, he was a former president of the Kiwanis Club, and an Eagle Scout. Robert was part of the Beaver County Horseshoe Hall of Fame, as well as an avid golfer and bowler. He was a loving grandfather. He was also a veteran of the Air Force. Surviving are his loving wife, Glenna Sue (Myers) Matthews; son, Robert Matthews Jr.; daughter, Marcie Fawley; sister, Kathleen Rose, and three grandchildren, Amanda and Brenden Fawley, and Vanessa Matthews. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., gabauerfamily funeralhomes.com, and Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Rev. Duane Herron will officiate. Interment will follow in Jeannette Memorial Park.

Kathy, Sue and families. You have our deepest sympathy in the passing of your loved one Bobby. He was a special person and a friend to us, from church and school . I remember both cousins Bobby and his sister Cathy growing up when we came down from NY to visit, We stayed at their home as my mother (Harriett Picarsic) was their mother's sister. I thoughts are with the family, Tom Picarsic
