Robert J. McDermott, 73, of Chippewa Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls.
Born on March 11, 1949 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Michael and Della (Gibney) McDermott.
Robert was an electrician for J & L Structures in Aliquippa prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. Monica Roman Catholic Church and loved to spend time with the ones he loved.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Caroline (Dudzik) McDermott, on December 26, 2021; a daughter, Jodi Chusko; and two brothers, Tom and Mike McDermott.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Holly (Ron) Kovacevic; four grandchildren, Bryce, Brayden, Anna, and Evan; nieces, nephews, and many special friends who were considered family.
Friends will be received on Monday from 4-7PM at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Twp., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls, www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com. A blessing service will be held at 7PM.
Private inurnment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
