Robert Harrison Taylor, 77, of Wampum, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Heritage Valley Health System in Beaver, PA.

Mr. Taylor was born in Whitesburg, KY on June 30, 1946, to the late Tommy W. and Mattie (Thomas) Taylor.  He graduated from Whitesburg High School in 1965.

He was retired but was self-employed the majority of his life in Timber and Logging.  He was also the local Code Enforcement Officer for a time.  He was a very generous man with his time and talents and touched many people's lives.  Whenever he saw a person in need, he was always willing to bless them in tangible and other ways.  He had an unparalleled work ethic and enjoyed making business deals, spending time at his farm and fishing in his pond.  He looked forward to traveling to Whiteburg, KY each year to see his high school classmates and friends.

He also enjoyed starting his day out by having breakfast with friends and stopping at the local corner store (where everyone knew his name) to get coffee.  His favorite thing to do was spend time with his family.  His greatest accomplishment was being a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Taylor of Wampum, PA; his daughter, Julie Soterin (and son-in-law George Soterin) of Beaver Falls, PA; his son Richard Franklin (and daughter-in-law Adrienne Franklin) of Bloomville, OH; his stepdaughter, Felicia Maietta; and grandchildren, Camilla Anderson and Roman Anderson of Wampum, PA; and his sister, JoElla Sturgill of Lowellville, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Charles "Eddie" Taylor and David Taylor; and his sisters, Sharon Tyree and Madonna Whipple.
