Roberta Nahas, 64, of Chippewa Township, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 18, 2025. She died from cancer, after being home on hospice for over a month.
She was the daughter of Rose Ann (Bittner) and Robert Highberger. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jim Highberger (Toni Highberger-Grimes). She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dean Nahas; daughters, Dana Dillaman (Amber) and Laura Lora (Jhoan); son Kevin Nahas; four grandchildren, Shahia, Natalia, Elizabeth, and Gabriela; three sisters, Wendy Graser (Phil), Penny Bowser (Scott), and Ardy Skidmore; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Roberta was first and foremost a Christian and active member of her church. She was a former librarian at Beaver County Christian School after volunteering there for years. She was passionate about volunteering with Operation Christmas Child (Samaritan's Purse) and various other charities.
Roberta was a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for twenty years, through which she enjoyed fellowship, creativity, a ministry with which to share her faith in Jesus Christ.
Friends will be received for visitation Friday, August 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the CHIPPEWA ALLIANCE CHURCH, 3629 37th St. Ext., Beaver Falls. Additional visitation on Saturday, August 23, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a memorial service from 12 to 1 p.m. officiated by Pastor Dan Muir.
In lieu of flowers, Roberta requests that donations be made to Samaritan's Purse.
