Obituary

Rocky Allen Hanshaw, 58, of Rochester passed away WednesdayAugust 21 in his home. He was born November 4, 1954 in Niles, OH and was the son of the late Mason Holbrook Sr. and Gaye Sparks. Rocky was a member of the Old Erie F&AM Lodge #3 and the VFW of Niles, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Victor Sparks and a sister, Karen Holbrook.

Surviving are his wife Lisa Hanshaw, a son, Lucas (Breann McGrath) Hanshaw, daughters, Amanda (Brent Owens) Hanshaw, Kathryn (Jason) Alfonso, Kristie (Jason) Caldwell, grandchildren, Divinity Owens, Peyton McGrath, Angelina Persud, Jasmine and Jaxson Alphonso, Jason, Jayden and Kennedy Caldwell, brothers, Mason Holbrook Jr., Marvin Hanshaw, Dale Moore, sisters, Debbie Jusczak, Peggy Cercone, Robin Holbrook, Tracy McCullough, Gina Holbrook, Linda Holbrook, Vicki Strock, Kim Culver and Veronica Aiosa and his stepmother, Marilyn Holbrook.

Friends were received Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver where a funeral service was conducted Saturday at 11 AM by Reverend Bill Blume of the Faith 2 Faith Church in Rochester. Interment followed in Beaver Cemetery.
