Roland G. McClinton Sr., 86, of South Beaver Township, passed away at his son’s residence on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born at his home in South Beaver Township on January 20, 1940, he was the son of the late Glenn and Bernice (Young) McClinton.

Roland was a hardworking man who enjoyed staying active throughout his life. He spent his career with B&W Steel and Koppel Steel, retiring at the age of 65, but retirement did not slow him down. He continued working by cutting grass at Rolling Acres Golf Course until just last summer. An avid outdoorsman, Roland loved hunting, fishing, and especially tending to his garden. He was also a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan and proudly helped co-found the South Beaver Baseball League.

Roland was a member of Highland VFW Post 5945 and enjoyed being part of his community. Above all else, his greatest joy was his family, and he absolutely adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who held a very special place in his heart.

Roland is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Carol (Phillips) McClinton; his children, Roland (Colleen) McClinton Jr., Denise (Thomas) McKenzie, and Randy (Stacy Fuller) McClinton; his five cherished grandchildren, Tyler (Julie) McKenzie, Lauren McClinton, Austin (Sydney Schipani) McClinton, Morgan (Tom) Broady, and Brooke McClinton; his three great-grandchildren, Cormac, Silas, and Colter; his siblings, Bonnie Diamond, Marjorie Henderson, and Richard McClinton; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends will be received on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 1PM until the time of services at 4PM in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, Inc., 117 Blackhawk Road Beaver Falls, PA 15010.

Private interment will take place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, PA.
