Obituary
Ronald E. Main,78, of Beaver, formerly of Beaver Falls passed away peacefully on Monday January 8, 2024, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley – Beaver.
He was born October 16th, 1945, to the late Earl and Angelina (Capo) Main of Patterson Twp, Beaver Falls Pennsylvania.
A 1963 graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Main was a proud member of the undefeated 1960 Fighting Tigers. He earned an engineering degree from Youngstown State University where he not only earned academic accomplishments but also discovered a profound connection with Lynda Marie Williams, who would later become the love of his life.
An innovator and visionary, Main’s passion for technology paved the way to his successful business of 40 years, Questeq. He loved working with his wife, son and daughter to build a family business. Witnessing the growth of his company and fostering close-knit relationships with employees who became like family brought him immense pride. Main was also active in his community where he served as a commissioner in Patterson Township, played a pivotal role in the revival of the Carnegie Library and was instrumental in establishing and organizing The Larry Bruno Foundation in Beaver Falls.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Christopher Robert Main. Christopher was born with special needs, and he was devoted to caring for him throughout his short lifetime.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Lynda Marie (Williams) Main, a son, Jeffrey (Rachel) Main of Oakdale, PA; a daughter Jessica Main of Beaver, PA; two sisters, Sheryl Main of Hermosa Beach, CA and Jean (Snook) Policaro of Beaver, PA; three beloved grandchildren Ryan, Emma, & Conor. He also has a very special extended family consisting of Jan & Dave Glass of Hutchinson Island, Florida, the Smith Family of Patterson Twp, along with two aunts and several cousins.
His family will miss his trademark greeting “Yo Lay”, his ability to mentor and inspire others and his zest for life.
As per his wishes there will be no visitation or services at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Larry Bruno Foundation, 1112 7th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 or The Verland Foundation, 212 Iris Road, Sewickley, PA 15143, in memory of Christopher Main.
Ron will be laid to rest next to his son Christopher in Beaver Cemetery.
The Main Family would like to thank all the medical staff at Heritage Valley, Beaver, and the angels at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver who took special care of him during his final days.
Arrangements were handled by the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 117 Blackhawk Road Beaver Falls www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com .

Jessica~ I am sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. When he would come in, he always had a smile on his face, remembered my name, and asked about my family and my work on the school board. I pray your memories bring peace and comfort to you during this difficult time.
