Ronald L. Lawrence

Ronald L. Lawrence, 75, of Bridgewater, passed away Tuesday December 9 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Brighton Township. He was born July 23, 1939 in Bridgewater and was the son of the late Roy and Edith Kendrew Lawrence.

Ron had been a life long resident of Bridgewater and had run Lawrence’s News Stand in Bridgewater for years and later had worked in construction.

Surviving are his wife Barbara Ann Lawrence, a son John Robert Manzo, New Brighton, 2 brothers, Robert Lawrence, Beaver and Leroy (Cleo) Lawrence, Ash, NC, 2 sisters, Jeraldine (Charles) Grant, Ohioville and Nancy (Edward) Kress, Oriental, NC, a sister-in-law, Eileen Lawrence, Beaver Falls, a brother-in-law Donald Tarazano, Centerville, OH, his beloved dog Sadie and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Fletcher Smith Lawrence and Jack Melvin Lawrence and 2 sisters, Marion Tarazano and Edna Cook.

Friends will be received Thursday from 4 until service time at 8 PM in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver. Reverend James Equals will officiate. Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester. The family suggests contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice or Beaver County Humane Society in Ronald’s memory.
