Obituary

Ruth Ann Radish, 85, of Economy Boro, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice – Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born on January 8, 1938, in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Anderson) Waddell.

Ruth Ann was an accountant for Chester Engineers. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Beaver, Daughters of American Revolution and Naomi Sisters. Ruth Ann enjoyed traveling and collecting Hummels, but mostly, she loved spending precious moments with her family.

Ruth Ann is survived by her children, Matthew Haber (Jane) and Sarah Hebert (Scott); her grandchildren, Anna Zimmet (Daniel), Michael Haber (Maggie), Tessa Hebert and Alex Hebert; her great-grandchildren, Layne Zimmet, Ryan Zimmet and Camron Wims; her brother, Jack Waddell (Nora) and numerous nieces, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Radish; an infant son, Paul Haber and a step-son, Phillip Radish.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 20th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES (Branch), 340 Third Street, Beaver.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday June 21st at 11AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 252 College Ave. Beaver.

Entombment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ruth Ann’s name to First Presbyterian Church, 252 College Ave, Beaver, or Good Samaritan Hospice, 1000 Dutch Ridge Rd., Beaver.
