Ruth H. Kuhn
Formerly of Vanport

Ruth H. Kun, of Rochester, formerly a long time resident of Vanport, passed away Monday November 23 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Brighton Township.

She was born in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred Streb Murray. Ruth was a member of the Vanport Presbyterian Church, the Crusaders of the Church, the Van Buren Women’s Club, Van Buren Civic Club and the Red Hat Society. Her zest for life was unsurpassed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James H. Kuhn.

Surviving are a son, James H. (Lori) Kuhn Jr., Beaver, 3 daughters, Karen (Carl) Heinlein, Baden, Deborah Miller, Baden and Kimberly Riddle, Cincinnati, OH, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver, where a funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 11 AM by her Minister Reverend David Byers. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester. The family suggests friends may if they wish make contributions to the Vanport Presbyterian Church, 289 Georgetown Lane, Vanport, 15009 in Ruth’s memory.
