  3. Lynn Betz says:

Ruth and Jack were wonderful neighbors in Darlington when I was growing up. Her kindness, gentleness, and thoughtfulness, her beautiful smile, and twinkle in her eye I most remember. I remember that after Curt died, she worked hard in our school cafeteria to support them and focused her life as a loving single parent to raise in love her only son she so cherished. She was so proud of Jack. Her faith in God lit her ways. I am blessed to have known her.
    Sincere condolences to her family.

  4. Marilyn and family-
I am so sorry that I just this minute read Ruth’s obituary and it is too late to come to the funeral home to hug you! You took such wonderful care of your mother in law. She was blessed to have you. What a long and God-honoring life Ruth led. It was a blessing to know her. She was a LADY!
    With lots of love,

I remember Ruth working in the cafeteria at Northwestern, she always had a pleasant smile. I played some pick-up basketball with her son Jack whose faith was evident throughout his life. May God grant her family strength, comfort, and the assurance of salvation at this time.
