Santo C. Detore, Jr. of Brighton Township, passed away Friday May 14 at home with his beloved wife at his side. A veteran of the US Navy and a retiree of Eaton in Beaver, he spent his retirement enjoying time with his wife, children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Santo Detore, Sr. and Alice Staherak Detore, he was preceded in death by a sister Rose Petrella and brother Thomas Detore. He leaves behind his wife of 48 years Martha Detore, Melanie Detore, daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth and Rob Stafford, son and daughter-in-law Samuel and Angelia Detore, cherished grandchildren, Brandon, Benjamin, Laura, Paige and Donnie, sisters, Thelma (Paul) Highburger, Anita (Dan) Leffler, Maryann (Mike) Martin, brother Camillo (Patty) Detore and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver. Burial will be in Beaver Cemetery.
