Sharon Leah Parrish, 68, of New Brighton, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023 in the comfort of her home.

Born on March 20, 1954, in New Brighton, she was the daughter of the late Forest and Olive (Smith) McDaniel.

Sharon had spent her life as a nursing assistant for Blair Personal Care Homes and later as a housekeeper.  She was a past member of the Christian Missionary Alliance and enjoyed working in her yard.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frank R. Parrish; her sons, Frank (Tammy) Parrish III and Chad Parrish; her grandchildren, Preston, Zachary, and Colby; her siblings, Keith, Donnie, Sammy, Johnny, Dennis, Carl, Jimmy, and JoAnn; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Jeanie, Mary and Kathy.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, February 21 ^st from 3-6PM in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton.

In accordance with her wishes, Sharon will be cremated following the visitation.
