She is survived by her four nieces who will forever hold dear her memory: Theresa Taylor-Ford, Patricia Hornick, Kathryn (James) Hornick-Young, and Michelle (John) Dunn. She will be dearly missed by her godson, John Michael Dunn. Shirley is also survived by her stepchildren, Dennis (Jackie) Hollister and Valerie (Richard) Rudnicki; her daughter-in-law, Ardys (Donnie) Rutherford; her 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Also remaining to cherish her memory are beloved friends Frank Martocci, Debbie Ellefson, Sue and Tom Holaren, and Sue Hilberry.
Friends will be received on Monday from 3pm-8pm and Tuesday from 10am until time of services at 10:30am in the GABAUER-FUNERAL HOME-1333 Penn Avenue, New Brighton-www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com. Pastor Wilmer Olszewski will officiate.
