Shirley Rae Steinmiller

New Castle, Formerly of Vanport

Shirley Rae Steinmiller, 93, New Castle, formerly of Vanport passed away Thursday May 6 in The Grove in New Castle. She was born August 3, 1927 in Aliquippa and was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Hazel Schwarz. Shirley had been a nurses aide at Friendship Ridge in Brighton Township. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William R. Steinmiller in 1994 and a son James P. Steinmiller. She is survived by sons William R. Steinmiller and Robert R. (Sharon) Steinmiller and a daughter-in-law Pamela Steinmiller, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Services are pending at this time.Interment will be in Beaver Cemetery.
