Obituary

Steven Pyecha, 75, of Center Township, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Heritage Valley Health System – Beaver Campus.

Born on May 11, 1950, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Stephen and Ruth Ann (Smith) Pyecha.

Steven retired from Laborers Union Local 833 following many years of service as a business agent. He was most proud of his three sons and loved his late wife, Christine, endlessly. He was a member of the New Brighton Eagles Club, Monaca Turners, as well as many other local social clubs. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing golf.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 31 years, Christine (Belkowski) Pyecha.

He is survived by his three sons, David (Kalyn) Menges, Frank (Karla Forsythe) Menges, and Brian (Barbara) Menges; grandchildren, Cody(Cailey), Casey, Allison, Ashley, Sean, Dylan, Stacy, Penelope, and Landon; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Greyson, Brayden, Cecilia, Callum, and one on the way; a dear cousin, Virginia Voegler and sister in law Janet Maccrindle. A neighbor Chris Kloss and wife, and many friends.

Friends will be received for a memorial visitation on Saturday, April 18th from 3PM until the time of services at 5PM in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton, PA 15066.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Steven’s name may be directed to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001.

I could have never asked for a more supportive father. If I had to do the last three years again while you were sick, I would hit reset just to be able to share the closeness we have. Wouldn’t have traded it for the world. Thank you so much for what you gave mom and your 3 boys. God bless you dad. Always proud to be your son
