Obituary
Sylvia Christine Stone, 66, of New Brighton, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 in Providence Care Center.
Born on December 25, 1954, in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Wayne Jr. and Thelma (Singleton) Stone.
Sylvia is survived by a daughter, Melissa Marie Stone (Tom) Manderson; a son, David Allan (Fiancé Jen Montgomery) Bartley; 7 grandchildren, Tyler, Cayden, Brooklyn, Terrel, and Donovan Manderson, and David and Samantha Bartley; a brother, Dennis (Darlene) Stone; a sister, Amy Stone; a sister-in-law, Dana Showalter; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Dean Stone.
As per the family’s wishes, a memorial service honoring Sylvia will be announced at a later date.

Chris was a sweetheart. I went to highschool with her. She was always smiling, never had an unkind word for anyone or anything, and was fun to be around. My thoughts are with her family.

Christine was one of my best friends in elementary school and my Girl Scout buddy. She was always sweet to everyone and taught me how to catch crawdads in the streams around Beaver County. She will be missed.
