Obituary

Thomas Jansto, 80, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in the comfort of his home.

Born on February 26, 1941, in New Brighton, he was the son of the late John and Eleanor (Kompa) Jansto.

Tom was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.  He spent his professional life as a millworker.  Tom loved gardening and going to his camp.  He was a Jack of All Trades and could fix anything…always willing to lend a helping hand.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Jansto; his son, Scott Jansto; his daughter, Susan Borghi; siblings, John “Sonny” Jansto, and Joseph Jansto.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Michele Jansto, Kristi (Juan) Nunez, and Sheryl Mengel; his siblings, James (Judy) Jansto, David Jansto, Michael (Amy) Jansto, Sr., Gene Jansto, Patricia Sigbornsen, Betty (Del) Iben, Kathy (Dave) Thumm, and Peggy (Doug) Jones; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Kyle, Andrea, Sean, Tyler, Jameson, Erika, Angie, Rachel, and Edward; great-grandchildren, Stella, Lola, Matthew, Ryan, Hazel, Joshua, Christine, Izaac, and Tessa; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-6PM in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Twp., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls.  A brief time of remembrance will be held at 5:30.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tom’s name may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation of Western PA. 575 Lincoln Ave., Bellevue, PA 15202.

    Brother Tom will always be remembered as a loving, tenderhearted gentleman! He was a quiet man and his smile gave a special message of his caring and love.
