Obituary
Thomas Wayne Jurkowski, 72, of Beaver, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, in Ambridge, Pennsylvania.
He was born June 27th, 1953, and was the son of the late Cyril and Sabina Jurkowski. He was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Church – Mary Queen of Saints Parish, where his faith was an important part of his life.
Thomas was known for his friendly and easygoing nature, and genuine kindness. He graduated from Ambridge Area High School and went on to Penn State University, earning a bachelors degree in accounting. An avid golfer and tennis player, he spent many happy hours on the course and courts playing with friends and family. He was also a proud supporter of Penn State Football and Pittsburgh sports, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates, and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Melvina Jurkowski, and his brother, Cyril Jurkowski, Jr.
He is survived by his children, Valerie Malack, Douglas Jurkowski, and Mark Jurkowski; a grandson, Colin Malack; a devoted partner, Kimberly Wright; and a special group of friends.
Friends will be received on Thursday, November 13th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 340 3rd Street Beaver, Pa 15009.
Departing prayers will be offered in the funeral home on Friday, November 14th at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church – Mary Queen of Saints Parish, 1409 Pennsylvania Ave, Monaca PA 15061.
Interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery.

Tom was a good guy. He and I hung out together when we were very young, attended St. Stanislaus school together. Lots of memories. Condolences from myself, my sister Michaeleen and my brothers Donald and Joseph.
