Obituary

Tracy Jean Reed, 56, of Monaca, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 5, 2025, in the company of her family and friends, following a valiant battle with breast cancer.

Born on March 5, 1969, in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Dorothy “Jeanie” (Simmons) Reed.

Tracy was a graduate of Blackhawk High School, Stewardess training school and PTI.  She had worked as a florist before becoming a United Airlines flight attendant.  Most recently she worked as a Computer Aided Designer.  In her free time, Tracy loved traveling, attending concerts, horseback riding, and everything outdoors. She had a huge heart of gold full of the love and kindness for all of God’s creatures.

In addition to her parents, Tracy was preceded in death by her partner; Paul Gossard on June 16, 2025.

She is survived by her loving sisters, Lesley (Edward) Alexander and Vickey (Dennis) Heberlein; a nephew, EJ Alexander; aunts, JoAnn “Joey” Molina and Janet Skiba; uncle, David Simmons; cousins, Ron Woodyard, Julie Powell, John Skiba, and Michelle Waterman; as well as the Gossard family.

In accordance with Tracy’s wishes, there will be no public visitation.

The family is inviting everyone to attend a Blessing Service which will be held on Thursday, July 10^th at 1PM in the chapel of St. Mary Cemetery, Beaver Falls with Father Howard Campbell as celebrant, and then a celebration of life at Yolanda’s Restaurant-2228 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls PA 15010 at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
