Velma May (Mihalko) Krisa, 93, of East Palestine, Ohio, died on Friday, February 16, 20234at Blossom Nursing Home, East Palestine.

Born on November 9, 1930, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late John and Jessie (Boyce) Mihalko.

Velma had worked for Providence Care Center for many years and was a life member of the East Palestine VFW Women's Auxiliary.  She was an active supporter of the March of Dimes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Bones" Krisa; her siblings, John III, James, Theodore, Charles, Michael, Mamy, Geraldine, Margaret, Shirley, Frances, Lucinda, Jessie, Genevieve, and Deborah.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Krisa; brother, Tim Mihalko; sister, Judy Horner; nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends will be received on Thursday, February 22 ^nd from 4pm until the time of funeral service at 6pm at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Twp., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls.

Private interment will be in Glenview Cemetery, East Palestine.
