Obituary
Vincent C. “Vinny” Gratteri, 58, of Chippewa Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026, in the comfort of his home.
Born on June 18, 1967, in New Brighton, he was the son of Carol (Palimino) Gratteri and the late Vincenzo Gratteri.
Vinny worked as a chef for the majority of his professional life. He was a member of St. Monica Church of St. Augustine Parish and loved his family dearly. As a proud supporter of all Pittsburgh Sports, he rarely ever missed a game with Sonny, his K-9 companion at his side.
He is survived by his mother, Carol (Palimino) Gratteri; his siblings, Jeffrey Gratteri, Tracy Zimmerman, Lisa (Brian) Dainton, a sister-in-law, Becky Gratteri; his nieces and nephews, Natalie (Landon) Hall, Alexa (Chris) Kropf, Hanna Gratteri, Vince Gratteri, and Johnny Gratteri; great niece and nephew, Isla and Cade Kropf; as well as many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Marc Gratteri; and his brother-in-law, Gerard Zimmerman.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, February 3rd from 3PM until 8PM in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Township, 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
Departing prayers will be offered in the funeral home on Wednesday, February 4th at 9:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Monica Church of St. Augustine Parish, 116 Thorndale Drive, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. Fr. John Naugle will serve as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

God, Please continue to bless the Gratteri family with love, strength, understanding, and peace during this difficult time on earth. We are all heartbroken by his death here, but take comfort that he is with you and not in hell. We know and trust you God that Vinny was a believer in you 100%, 3 in one person, and forgiven of all his sins by Jesus Christ and is now residing with all of his family and loved ones in heaven. We trust in you God because our goal is not living our limited time here on earth, but to have everlasting life with you in heaven. God bless the Gratteri family at this time. I was deeply saddened to hear of Vinnie’s passing. I have fond memories of playing pickup football with him in the neighborhood.

I was sad to hear of the passing of Vinny. The Graatteri family you are all in my thoughts and prayers! I met Vinny a few years ago through my Brother Tom “TC” Connolly and to me they were best buddies because they were always hanging out and betting on sports together!! I believe now TC and Vinny are having a few beers together in the after life!!
